Here are some of the successful deliveries of translation and interpreter services by SpiceWorx.

In late July 2004, JETRO Manila Center has appointed SpiceWorx Consultancy, as the partner in conducting a research on Philippines IT / IT enabled service industry.

JETRO initiated this research activity supporting Japanese government’s thrust to further promote IT industry’s business activities between Japan and the Philippines. The research reports are originally written in Japanese on a monthly basis for the period of six months starting September, 2004. JETRO have been distributing the report to over 5,000 companies and organizations in IT industry in Japan who would be potential outsourcers and/or investors to Philippines IT / IT enabled services industry. The reports are also be translated into English.

UP-ITTC (now UP-ITDC) is a high level IT training program of the University of the Philippines (UP) in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The first batch of training at UP-ITTC is scheduled to start in June, 2005. UP-ITTC aims for providing “Bridge Program that fills IT skill gap between IT related university graduates and IT industry needs”.

SpiceWorx successfully delivered a study on the state of e-Learning in the Philippines to Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC) in Japan. SpiceWorx conducted extensive interviews with various stockholders of e-learning in the Philippines including government agencies, academe and private sectors. The study covered major E-Learning initiatives by the Philippine government, policies concerning e-learning, e-learning case studies in universities/colleges in the Philippines as well as other training institutions and many other e-learning related projects being undertaken in the Philippines.

Since August 2004, SpiceWorx has been working hand in hand with
JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) in publishing periodic reports on Philippines' IT and IT enabled services industry targeting Japanese readers to raise awareness among them about Philippines as an offshore outsourcing destination. Reports are available from JETRO websites in Japanese and English.

Appointed by the Information Technology Promotion Agency (IPA) of Japan, SpiceWorx conducted an assessment study on the implementation of Philippine National IT Standard (PhilNITS, formerly JITSE). The three months project of 12 project members successfully delivered the assessment of five years implementation of PhilNITS and recommendations for both Japan and the Philippines on what should be done for the future expansion of this certification program.
