Project description: UP-ITTC is a new high level IT training program of the University of the Philippines (UP) in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The first batch of training at UP-ITTC is scheduled to start in June, 2005. UP-ITTC aims for providing “Bridge Program that fills IT skill gap between IT related university graduates and IT industry needs”.

UP-ITTC’s goal will never be achieved unless our training programs are well aligned with the real needs of the IT and IT enabled services industry of the Philippines. JICA IT Human Resource Development Project commissioned to SpiceWorx the survey on IT Human Resource Needs among IT companies in the Philippines.
