SpiceWorx Consultancy successfully completed the first implementation of joint training for Filipino and Japanese IT Professionals in Manila, Philippines.  The Global IT Professionals Development, Project Manager's Program was jointly organized by SpiceWorx Consultancy and it Japanese partner Sunflex, Inc., The program aims to prepare Japanese IT professionals for global business using English as primary language of communication and also to promote IT business collaboration between Japan and the Philippines. 

SpiceWorx and Sunflex designed such program in response to a growing demand in Japan's IT services industry to prepare their people to embark and drive businesses globally. 

In the first batch of this program, which was conducted from October 19 to November 13, 2009, 14 Japanese professionals from two major Japanese IT services firms in Tokyo, Japan underwent the training together with 3 Filipino IT professionals from IT services firms in Manila, Philippines.

—The one-month training program consists of the following courses: 

—- Business English (5 days) - Japanese trainees only

—- Cross Culture Communication (4 days) 

—- Business Analysis (3 days) 

—- Global Leadership (2 days) 

—- IT Project Management (4.5 days) 

—- Debriefing (1 day) 

—- Post Training English Test (1.5 hours) - Japanese trainees only

During the one month stay in Manila, Japanese trainees also enjoyed Â—1 day city tpour in Metro Manila, 1 day tour to Philippine based IT services firms and University of the Philippines IT Training Center (UPITTC), 1 day trip to a beautiful beach in Anilao, Batangas.

Encouraged by highly positive feedback from both the batch 1 participants and their employers, SpiceWorx and Sunflex wastes no time to prepare for the batch 2 implementation in the first quarter of 2010.
