SpiceWorx Global Human Resource Development Program Featured in CSR Report of Hitachi Information Systems

SpiceWorx and G&S, our partner in Japan, coordinate and implement global human resource development program in the Philippines for Hitachi Information Systems, Ltd. of Japan, hereafter Hitachi Joho. Hitachi Joho is one of the leading players of IT operation outsourcing and systems integration in Japan. As the company eyes on expansion to the global market, Hitachi Joho has been sending all of the newly hired fresh graduate employees to overseas training.   It is a very strategic initiative of the company, to develop skill set and mindset for global business in their young employees who shall be leading their future business in the global market.

In fiscal 2010, Hitachi Joho sent all 190 new employees to training programs either in the Philippines or Vietnam. SpiceWorx is their local implementation partner in the Philippines.

Philippines can offer English speaking business environment, excellence in variety of business skills and technical training delivered in English, competitive cost, and great hospitality.  In the Philippines, the global business training program for Hitachi Joho's new employees is conducted as a joint training program with young Filipino professionals in the IT industry and graduating university students in the Philippines.

As of  the end of August 2011, SpiceWorx and G&S have successfully delivered 7 batches of global business training for Hitachi Joho, graduating 99 of their employees and 27 Filipinos who joined the global business training with Hitachi Joho employees.

Recently, in August 2011, Hitachi Joho released its CSR Report 2011 and the training program organized and coordinated by SpiceWorx and G&S was featured on this report.  (The report is in Japanese.)

SpiceWorx's engagement to serve as a coordinator and implementer of such program fits perfectly to our vision, "Catalyst of Global Business Success Born in Asia".  During their stay in the Philippines, participants from Japan do not only acquire/improve business English skills, communication skills, assertiveness, sales and presentation skills but also experience cross cultural team work, exposed to diversity, establish network and friendship with young Filipinos from the same industry. SpiceWorx believes that by delivering such training, we are also planting seeds of future global business partnership among the participants and supporters of the program.
